Introducing The Black Forest, Germany

The Black Forest (Schwarzwald) gets its name from the dark canopy of evergreens, though it’s also dotted with open slopes and farmland. And while some parts heave with visitors, a 20-minute walk from even the most crowded spot will put you in quiet countryside dotted with enormous traditional farmhouses and patrolled by amiable dairy cows. It’s not nature wild and remote, but bucolic and picturesque.
The Black Forest is east of the Rhine between Karlsruhe and Basel. It’s shaped like a bean, about 160km long and 50km wide. If you have a car, you’ll find your visit especially rewarding as you can wander the rolling hills and deep valleys at will.

KitTea is Coming to San Francisco

That's right, a cat cafe (a cafe filled with cats) is coming to the City by the Bay later this year. Founders David Braginsky and Courtney Hatt, who have dubbed the cafe "KitTea" describe their business as part 'gourmet tea house' and part 'cat and human oasis.'

The goal of KitTea is to not only provide homeless cats with a place to call home, but to also bring humans and cats together in purrfect harmony. Here's how the cafe is described to work:

"Patrons will partake of all the enjoyment and therapy that cats provide, while enjoying healthy blends of exotic teas that are ecologically sourced from around the world. Our cats will enjoy a high-quality, elegant home constructed expressly for their pleasure."
You've got to be kitten me! Personally, I think it's brilliant! Japan has been doing this for years.

I take one cup of hair tea, please.

Hoax or Fact?

Is this a mosquito?

No. It’s an insect spy drone for urban areas, already in production, funded by the US Government. It can be remotely controlled and is equipped with a camera and a microphone. It can land on you, and it may have the potential to take a DNA sample or leave RFID tracking nanotechnology on your skin. It can fly through an open window, or it can attach to your clothing until you take it in your home.

The story comes with a picture claiming to show a Mosquito spy drone that can take photographs and DNA samples of people, and that it is funded by the U.S government for tracking people.

It is a fact that there are reports suggesting that research is going on to develop the MAV's, i.e. Micro Air Vehicles in the form of tiny flying objects like a mosquito. The purpose of these MAVs is to be useful in scientific and military applications. The micro flying robot can have cameras, microphones and other sensors that can take pictures, videos and other useful scientific and biological information from people and places where humans (or the military) cannot reach. This way the tiny flying robots can also be used as spies and weapons against enemies.

The picture shown in the story is not a real robot mosquito drone, but simply one such proposed 'prototype' that may become reality in future, and perhaps they will also be able to take photographs and DNA samples of people. But as of now, these are only speculations, and not facts in practical.
