dearest y'all,

today (at midnight) marks the end of june and one full month of this new blog. I honestly didn't know how I was going to do after making this year long commitment but it's been one full month and I've only missed one day (due to an extreme hangover) and I have to say that I've impressed the fuck out of myself here... I usually screw off after a few weeks of committing to something, i hated homework in school, not married, no kids, many career changes, automatic pet food dish dispensers, you get the idea... but I'm going to stick with this.

I know it's not very many but with just over 2500 hits on this site since the 1st of June i'm feelin' the love. I will admit that I am not really sure WTF I'm doing here. It seems to be a mix-match of garbage and pointless bullshiat but alas it's my junk. I just hope you feel it or at least some of it anyways.

one last thing... i just want to give a special shout-out to my lovely girls wiggy and nadine who I'm sure rocked at least 1900 of the hits here thus far. LOL everyday you two ask for more blog. you are my blog sluts and im having shirts made just for you.

will rafuse

for those of you know me well or for those of you who have been to my house you know that i love Will Rafuse. It's everywhere... all of his work, in every room, every print in every series. i cant get enough.

Why have i gone so ape shit over it? I couldn't tell you exactly why I love it so much, it just gives me this feeling when i look at it.

The use of colors and the way he portrays the human face. It's very haunting and yet very friendly. art has a funny way of effecting you. no words should describe it, for if it is really great art then no words could.
