my favorite summer snacks.
dessert - hot grilled peaches with fresh cut strawberries and frozen blueberries.
salad - finely chopped mango, red onion, yellow peppers, fresh basil & real crab. chopped mint optional
i love food, but absolutely no preservatives are allowed on this diet. it feels good.
BBQ your peaches in wedges or slices. it doesn't take long. if you are not watching your calories then you can use thick maple syrup to glaze. a never fail is sprinkling brown sugar on top and placing under broiler for 1-3 minutes. keep watch. it caramelizes quickly. this is good on a baked salmon as well.
ice cream or fresh whip cream optional.
